Qualification and Experience for CTU Bus Drivers
114 Post Detail
Passed Matric from any recognized board/ university. Having a valid licence to
drive heavy transport vehicle for 5 years. Minimum five years’ experience to
drive heavy transport vehicles.
Age Limit- Age as on 01.01.2015 25 years
to 35 years, Relaxable according to govt. rules.
Pay Scale – Rs.591020200+Grade Pay Rs.
2400 + other allowances from time to time.
Application Fee - Rs. 800 for General/OBC
candidates & Rs. 400 for SC/Ex Servicemen candidates.
Selection process of Chandigarh Transport
Undertaking Bus Driver posts
Written Test of 100 marks Knowledge
of Bus/Vehicle repair/maintenance40 Marks
Knowledge of Motor Vehicle Act and Traffic Rules50 Marks
Basic knowledge of firstAid10 Marks Total =100 Marks
Negative marking There will be no negative marking. And
Driving Skill Test comprising of following three tests
1. Dug/Ramp Test Reverse driving (one chance).
2.“8” shape Driving Test (one chance).
3. Road Test –(one chance).
There will be no interview for these posts.
