Recruitment of 1396 Assistant
Professors
Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) invites
online applications for recruitment of Assistant Professor (College
Cadre),H.E.S.-I in Higher Education Department, Haryana.
Now only Ph.D. Degree
holders but have not passed NET/SLET can apply for these 1396 posts. This
advertisement issued after the decision of High Court of Punjab and Haryana. It
is noted that in January 2014 HPSC issued an advertisement for recruitment of
Assistant Professors. The last date for online application was 21.02.2014.As
per advertisement only SLET/NET qualified candidates were eligible for these
posts. Ph.D holder not qualified NET/SLET were not eligible for these posts. P.h.D
degree holder candidates were against the minimum eligible condition of NET. They
want to relaxation from NET. So they went to High Court and file a Civil Writ
Petition no.2386 of 2014 against the HPSC advertisement.
Court directed that all the persons who are having
Ph.D. degrees are granted the benefit of Rajeev's case (supra) provided they
make an application positively within one week from the decision.Now HPSC
granted the benefit of CWP No. 2386 of 2014 titled as Rajiv & Others V/s
State of Haryana & Others to all eligible Ph.d. degree holders.
